New Board Member
Board members must be familiar with all Governing Doc's, be knowledgeable of the duties of a Board member and have a fiduciary responsibility to all homeowners. Board members must enforce and follow all rules as written and recuse himself or herself because of self interest, bias or prejudice. Board members are responsible for running the day to day Association business, preparing an annual operating Budget including reserve fund allocations, and preserving the Architectural integrity of the community and property values. Board members should not discuss Board issues with homeowners outside of the monthly meetings. There are instances where association business must be conducted in between monthly meetings via e-mail. Board members are required to check and respond to e-mail business in a timely matter as all e-mail decisions must be unanimous.
If you need a hardcopy of the Governing Doc's, please print them on your printer. If the Management Company is asked for these documents, there will be a fee for Administration time, copies and postage.
